Control Cable Screened
Control cableare predominantly found within automation, process and control industries. They are used to interconnect cable to measure, control and regulate computer programmed production machines. The flexible cables are most commonly used on production lines.
Control provide signal transmission among facilities at large industrial sites and commercial buildings. Such cables are shielded with PVC and XLPE insulators, ensuring superior construction. They are flame retardant, fireproof and eco-friendly according to the application. Furthermore, they are highly-shielded and thus applicable to precision equipment and are excellent at preventing intervention and external noise during signal transmission.
Cables are manufactured as per IS, BS & IEC standards as per the requirement of customers.
Construction
Conductor
Solid or stranded, circular annealed, bare or tinned copper wire of 1.5 sq. mm, 2.5 sq. mm, 4.0 sq. mm. up to 61 Cores.
Insulation
Fully colour coded cores using PVC. Core identification by printed characters is also available on order. The three primary colour pigments are magenta (red), yellow, and cyan (blue).
Screen
Screening by Copper Wire Braid, Aluminium Mylar tape or Aluminium Wire.
Drain Wire
Drain wire of solid or stranded, bare or tinned copper wire are normally provided.
Mechanical Protection
Galvanized steel wire, strip or double helical steel tape armour.
Inner & Outer Sheath
PVC: Black or Grey

Core identification by Colour coding or by number printing, cores stranded and covered with extruded PVC layer, galvanized steel wire or strip armoured.
Inner & Outer Sheath
PVC black or as required. In case of unarmoured type cables, overall sheath is provided on inner sheath. In case of Armoured Control Cables, a single layer of Galvanized steel wire/ strips is added above inner sheath.
